Mac PlumartMac began his professional money management career at Merrill Lynch over 25 years ago. During his career he had many distinguished accomplishments and earned many awards. Perhaps his most recognized achievement is earning the right to use the Chartered Financial Analyst designation in 2003. His investment philosophy focuses on finding companies with high quality fundamentals which are trading at attractive valuations.  His process of finding these investments involves using a top-down meets bottom up approach and viewing the markets through a behavioral finance perspective.  This allows him to see, not only the fundamental data of the markets, but also how investors are reacting to those fundamentals. Mac is a long standing Board member of The First Tee of Atlanta, an organization which teaches life skills to kids using the game of golf as a platform.  He is also a member of the Dean’s Council at his alma mater, Bowling Green State University. At BG, he earned his Bachelor’s Degree in Business with a focus on finance and capital markets.  Additionally, he is a member of the Atlanta Society of Financial Analysts and the CFA Institute.
